"Rick Ross has saved me. Before I found him I was ready to give up and was considering going on disability. I had always been an active athlete. My life revolved around horseback riding, ultimate frisbee and my road bicycle. Things started to go down hill for me when I was about 27 years old. I started seeing health professionals to help with chronic back pain. I saw 2 orthopedic surgeons and a chiropractor. A year later I was diagnosed by a neurosurgeon, via an MRI as having degenerated discs and arthritis in my low back. Over the next 5 years I saw another chiropractor, a massage therapist and a physical therapist. None of them were able to reduce my pain, even temporarily. I found an acupuncturist who was able to get rid of the pain but only for 24 hours at a time. About 5 years of this had gone on and I was convinced that my life as I knew it was over. I was at a pain level of 7+ out of 10 every day. And then a friend suggested that I see Rick. I really had to be forced because I had seen every kind of professional and had had no relief. I went to shut up the friend and prove that there was no help for me. After the first visit with Rick I was pain free for 1 full day. After the second visit I was pain free for 3 days. After the 3rd visit I was pain free. Period. What I got from Rick was relief and information. There was no blame from him that I "wasn't doing my exercises right" or that I had to buy expensive equipment to get better. He just fixed me and showed me how to keep the right muscles strong. I go in once a year or sometimes only every other year, when I've misbehaved and have a flare up. And he always fixes me. I am thankful for Rick everyday. He has given me my life back."

Rick is by far the most knowledgeable person I know, when it comes to the body and the way it is supposed to work. I don't know what I would do without him. I highly doubt my ability to continue with the activities I enjoy if I did not see Rick on a regular basis. He keeps me going.

Rick is a very caring, supportive and knowledgeable physical therapist. Four patients may have a back problem and he takes the time to treat each one for the their specific condition. He listens, really listens and doesn't have a textbook image preset in his head for treatment. You are treated for your specific need. I would highly recommend him as a therapist.

Slight improvements, but I am seeing faster results though I still feel pain. Hopefully, I can be "pain free" some day soon. If not pain free, then to the point where I can again enjoy doing the things I use to do to have fun.
